Auction for Marissa’s Paintings

We, at CPMT, continues to be dedicated to supporting the indigenous people groups we serve. This auction is especially meaningful as it features the deeply personal and inspiring works of our late founder and executive director, Miss Marissa E.

In 2015, Marissa was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent her first operation in 2016, facing the battle with courage and resilience. In 2018, when her cancer metastasized, she was advised to find activities to alleviate the stress from her demanding ministry work. It was then that she discovered the therapeutic power of painting.

Determined and passionate, she set a goal to create 13 paintings, each one representing one of the 13 indigenous people groups we serve. Despite the challenges posed by her illness, she completed 7 beautiful paintings and one unfinished piece, each reflecting her love and dedication to our cause. Sadly, she passed away in 2021, but her spirit and vision live on through her artwork.

These paintings are more than just pieces of art; they are a legacy of her unwavering commitment and heartfelt connection to the God-given vision entrusted to CPMT. She wished for these paintings to be displayed and auctioned to those with generous hearts, serving as a reminder of our blessings and the importance of sharing them to bring holistic transformation to the less fortunate.

The auction runs from June 27 to July 8, 2024. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a piece of her legacy and support our mission.

All proceeds from this auction will go towards continuing her vision to turn the harvest into a vast harvest force.
